Point Pleasant (WV) Register - Primary election update

Point Pleasant (WV) Register - Primary election update: (Below is a recap of how the voters voted in Mason County regarding the races for delegates):

In the 13th District for the West Virginia House of Delegates, Democrats chose Brady R. Paxton as their winner with 1,033 votes with challenger Helen Martin receiving 696 votes. In the race for the 13th, Republicans chose Scott Cadle as their winner with 912 votes, followed by Brian”Scotty” Scott with 419 votes, Nathan “Nate” Westfall with 180 votes and Harold Landers with 154 votes.

In the 14th District for the West Virginia House of Delegates, Democrats chose Jimmie Wood, Jr. with 999 votes, followed by Samantha Fooce with 371 votes and Kermit E. Beaver with 198 votes. In the race for the 14th Republicans chose Jim Butler with 645 votes, followed by John C. Casey with 492 votes and Darrell Justin Black with 227 votes.

Overall vote totals:

W.Va. House of Delegates 13th District - Democrats, Brady Paxton, 2,756; Helen Martin, 2,078. GOP - Brian Scotty Scott, 1,500; Harold Landers, 820; Nathan Nate Westfall, 862; Scott Cadle, 1,519.

W.Va. House of Delegates 14th District - Democrats Jimmie Wood, Jr., 1,047; Samantha Fooce, 393; Kermit E. Beaver, 355. GOP - Jim Butler, 710; John C. Casey,552; Darrell Justin Black, 462.
