Surprise Birthday Party

Approximately seventy-five people showed up at the Apple Grove Fire Department on Saturday, December 5th, to surprise Hannah Mayes on her 15th birthday. Hannah, a brain tumor survivor, enjoyed the "Celebration of Life" planned by her family.  She received great gifts and enjoyed visiting with all the  friends and family present. Hannah and her family appreciates all the support from the community throughout the many medical issues she has faced.

The Hannan Varsity Cheerleading Squad attended the party. “She was so surprised when she got there,” says Cassie Parsons of the squad. “Hannah seemed to have had a very good time.”
